Grilled Pork with Grilled Nectarine Chutney

Grilled Pork with Grilled Nectarine Chutney

I love pork with fruit sauces and since I had some nectarines I decided to make a chutney to serve alongside the pork chops and grill them all.  If you use thin cut pork chops, you can have this meal on the table in 20 minutes.  I also grilled some red potatoes to serve alongside.  The fresh nectarines with the sweet and savory sauce cook down very quickly to a beautiful glaze.  You could also use peaches, apricots, or plums or a combination of whatever you have on hand.  If I hadn’t had a touch of my senior senility, I would have remembered that I came back into the house to grab some raisins to add to the chutney.  Oh well, it was good just the way it was despite my failing memory!

Use a piece of foil and crimp around all the edges and cook the nectarines on the foil.  Easy cleanup!  Click here for pork recipe….   Click here for grilled potato recipe….
