- Grilled Figs Wrapped in Prosciutto
- The sweetness of summer figs paired with the salty prosciutto, make this the perfect summer appetizer. They can be assembled up to the day before. You can also add a small piece of blue cheese to each fig before you wrap the prosciutto, and the figs are wonderful placed on top of a summer salad of mixed baby greens, toasted hazelnuts, and a blue cheese dressing.
- Serves 6
- 10 figs, any variety
- 10 slices of thinly sliced prosciutto cut in half
- olive oil spray
Remove stem from fig and cut in half. Wrap prosciutto around fig and place on grill. Lightly spray olive oil on each fig and grill until browned. Turn over and grill until lightly browned. Serve hot or at room temperature.
