Peanut Butter Kisses


  • Peanut Butter Kisses
  • Makes 3 dozen
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • plate of granulated sugar to roll cookies
  • 32 Hershey’s kisses, unwrapped


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixing bowl, add butter and mix well. Add both sugars and mix well. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Add peanut butter and mix well. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

Use a cookie scoop and make 1 ½ -inch balls and then roll them into a ball and then roll in sugar. Place on cookie tray and bake for 9-10 minutes or until lightly browned and a little crackled. Remove from oven and place chocolate kiss on top. Remove to cooling rack. Allow to cool, and store or freeze.
