- Grilled Asparagus
- I use this marinade to grill asparagus in the summer and roast it in the winter. It is very easy to make for a large party.
- Serves 4
- 1 lb. asparagus, washed, ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- pepper to taste
In a bowl or the plastic bag the asparagus came in, add olive oil, soy, balsamic vinegar and pepper and mix. Add asparagus and toss well to coat.
Heat grill or preheat oven to 400.
Tumble asparagus onto hot grill and cook, turning frequently until asparagus is cooked through - about 4-6 minutes or can easily be pierced with the tip of a knife.
To cook in oven - place asparagus on a foil lined cookie tray (for easier clean up) and roast on bottom shelf for 4-6 minutes or until cooked through or can easily be pierced with the tip of a knife.
